Mariah & Kalen are honestly one of the cutest couples I’ve worked with so far! This was my first time meeting Kalen, who is super sweet and funny! Mariah & I actually gradated high school together! It’s been several years since we’ve seen each other, and so many things have changed in both of our lives! But it was really fun getting to see her again and catch up and meet her FIANCE!

We decided to meet up at Indiana University in good ol’ bloomginton. There’s so many gorgeous places on campus that you really just can’t run out of backdrops. After searching around for parking for EVER, we finally met up in the IMU lot and made our way over to this really gorgeous stone bridge at The Union! There was just enough water and stone in the creek to really make this area perfect to take some adorable snaps of them! The clouds may have been covering the sun, but Mariah & Kalen were troopers, despite the chilly weather!

We got lucky and found a perfect little fire pit to warm up at! I had Mariah & Kalen snuggle up to each other, and these turned out to be some of my favorite shots of these guys! They’re so natural with each other and perfectly in love. Kalen was totally cool about the whole picture taking thing (most guys dread it!), and he made Mariah laugh so many times, that he made my job too easy! This was definitely one of my relaxed sessions, which really made me enjoy it that much more!

I am so excited for your big day in October! I’m so happy for you both! See you again in a few months!
