I have officially shot one of the coolest and most unique weddings EVER! Paige & Alex got married on a hot sunny June day at Franklin College, where they both went to school! I think it’s so cool that they chose a location that means so much to both of them. On top of that, Franklin is so gorgeous! The amazing trees were the perfect backdrop for their ceremony!
The entire day was packed with fun, laughter, and love. Alex and his groomsman were able to kick back and start their day off with a few games, while the ladies were getting ready. The energy at the start of the day was great, and I knew the day was going to go well – despite the crazy heat!
After Paige stepped into her wedding dress and got laced up, she had a first look with her bridesmaids. Guys, I recommend EVERYONE doing this! The look on the girl’s faces were so heartwarming, I think I took a zillion pictures of it.
After the first look with the bridesmaids, came what was probably the most emotional part of the day – the first look with her father. A father-bride first look has to be one of the sweetest moments of a wedding day, and this one took the cake. I think all of our eyes were water during it, and I know it’s a special memory that Paige and her father will have forever.
The ceremony was a ton of fun, because the officiant pranked Paige & Alex with small rubber ducks! I’ll let your imaginations run wild with the explanation on that one!
The rest of the day was spent with family and friends celebrating Paige & Alex becoming Mr. & Mrs. I am so utterly happy for these two, and I wish you both the most incredible love and adventure filled lives.
