Married at Sycamore Farms | Mr. & Mrs. Fry

On a perfectly gorgeous Friday evening, Olivia & Andrew became Mr. & Mrs. Fry at Sycamore Farms. This was my first time photographing this venue and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how beautiful the land surrounding this barn was. Inside the barn was so gorgeous too, because the string lighting set the scene for a romantic and love filled evening with these two & their families.

Olivia reached out to me earlier this year and told me that I photographed her sister Katie’s wedding last year, and wanted to know if I would capture her big day too! I remembered Olivia’s beautiful smile and hilarious personality, so I of course said yes!! It’s such an honor when a family member remembers you from a wedding, and wants you to photograph their own!

When I arrived and greeted Katie on her big day, she had the biggest smile on her face, and she was looking absolutely gorgeous. She had yet to put her dress on, so I had no idea what I was in for. Once I saw her in her dress, I was amazed! She couldn’t have picked a more perfect gown for her bubbly personality and she was truly one of the most stunning brides.

Andrew was quiet, but I could tell he was getting so excited for this special day. All the gentleman had such great energy, so we quickly got started with their portraits. The guys were not afraid to shell out some silly poses! I always love when the bridal party gets silly because it loosens everyone up, and sets the tone for a really fun day.

During the ceremony, Olivia & Andrew read aloud their own vows, and this is quite easily one of my favorite things about wedding days. Not every couple does this, but when they write/read their own vows, I always get emotional because they’re always so sweet and personal. It really gives you an insight to them as a couple, and it’s never anything less than heart warming.

The rest of their day was perfect in every way. I took them out to the field to capture some last minute “newlywed” portraits, which turned out to be total perfection.

Olivia & Andrew – thank you SO much for asking me to be a part of your wedding day. You both are so wonderful and kind, and I’m so happy to see such a wonderful couple spend their lives together!
