On a gorgeous summer evening, I was finally able to meet Naline & Nolan for their engagement session at Holliday Park! We had to reschedule their engagement session a couple of times due to weather – Indiana has not been kind this summer, between the rain and the INSANE heat! The first evening we were supposed to have their session, there was a heat advisory, and the second time, we got rained out! However, rescheduling ended up totally and completely worth the wait.
Naline & Nolan are the sweetest couple. As we strolled around the park, we chatted about so much! Even though it was a hot evening, you’d never know it from the pictures because these two were such troopers. Sometimes I ask a lot from my couples when it comes to posing – I asked Nolan to pick up Naline and spin her around, but I loved the shots we were able to get from it!
An engagement session means so much between my couples and I because it really allows us to get comfortable with each other before the big day. When you feel like you know your photographer and how they are going to pose you and interact with you, you can feel prepared for one of the biggest days of your life.
I can’t wait for next June because that’s when these two are getting married, and at the GORGEOUS Balmoral House no less!
