On a rainy Saturday in July, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Miranda and Wyatt. This wedding was near and dear to my heart because I have known Miranda since she was 12 years old. I have watched her grow and mature into an amazing woman, and being able to capture the biggest day of her life – marrying Wyatt – brought me so much joy, that it’s hard to put into words.
Photographing a family wedding adds it’s own level of pressure and stress, no doubt. But there’s also something incredibly beautiful and touching about it. The comfort of knowing the people you’re photographing, and being able to be yourself and have some fun too, really makes the day all that much more special.
When I did Miranda and Wyatt’s engagement session last November, I was really able to see how much these two mean to each other. Wyatt is a United Sates Marine, so this couple has had to deal with the challenges of a long distance relationship. It’s obvious that distance has actually only made these two stronger, because on their wedding day, there was nothing but complete adoration for each other, and pure, true love.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Chaudion. I am so proud of you both and wish you so much love and happiness for your future.
