On a beautiful but frighteningly windy day in late October, Molly and Adam said their vows in a gorgeous Catholic wedding, and became Mr. & Mrs. Clauss. When I first arrived for the day, the energy amongst Molly & her bridesmaids was so great. The girls were dressed and ready to go, and it was time for Molly to put her gown on. Once she had it on, her bridesmaids saw her for the first time and had the best reaction, which I’m so happy I was able to capture.
Molly’s dress was totally made for her. I’ve never seen a dress more fitted for a bride in my life. She was absolutely breathtaking!
When we arrived at the Cathedral, we went right into the first look with Adam. First looks never fail to make me emotional, and it was one of my favorite parts of the day.
The ceremony was beautiful, emotional, and filled with love & the Lord. You could tell how eager these two were to say “I do”, and being behind the camera was truly a joy.
Then came the fun part! The newlyweds got a party bus for themselves and their friends, and they rode around the city and celebrated, and we stopped at a beautiful golf course to snap some more pictures. This is where I captured one of my absolute favorite portraits of any newlywed couple EVER. In fact, this particular image is now featured on the 2019 Aubrey Lynn Bridal Guide cover! The wind worked to our favor, and the lighting was perfection!
We then headed to their reception site, which was SUPER unique! They had their reception at Sullivan Hardware, which ended up being totally stunning! The gorgeous lights, greenery, and set-up, paired with the super cool grand entrance in a real train, made it by far one of the coolest receptions ever!
I know this blog post is suppper late, but I’m so happy to relieve your wedding through these gorgeous images. I wish you both the best in your marriage!
