On one of the most gorgeous fall days here in Indiana, I traveled down to Madison to meet up with Chance & Kara for a perfect engagement session! Kara reached out to me because she had heard that I was photographing one of her friend’s weddings – the lovely Emily! When I found out she wanted me to come down to Madison for the session, I was so excited because I love going to new places, and I had never been! Boy, it did not disappoint. Being right on the river, with the beautiful historic homes and downtown square made for a gorgeous back drop. Even more gorgeous were all of the colors on the trees. It was so dreamy!
Chance and Kara were so bubbly and kind, it truly made our time together so much fun. I loved learning more about them as a couple, and even though I knew I wouldn’t be photographing their wedding in Wisconsin, I was so happy that I got the chance to spend some time with them and capture their love!
Not long after their engagement session, was Emily & Merritt’s wedding, where I got to see Chance again as a groomsman, and Kara as a guest! She gave me a great big hug and I was so excited to see her, she is the absolute sweetest!
