On what started out to be a rainy day (but ended with the gorgeous sunlight), Geoff & Cassie said their “I do’s” in easily one of the most beautiful Catholic Cathedral’s I have ever shot at. They finally became the Bentley’s. This has been a long awaited wedding for me. I met these two mid-last year at their engagement session, and KNEW from the first minute I met them, that I would genuinely love them and that their wedding day was going to be incredible.
We met up for their engagement session at Holliday Park last year, and I specifically remember it being such a fun time together! Since then, we kept in communication and prepared for their epic day, which included a tour of the church and their reception venue. This got me so excited because I was able to envision what the day would be like.
Once the day finally arrived, Cassie and her gorgeous bridesmaids and mom were in the best spirits and the getting ready process was so joyous. They had beautiful matching robes, mimosas, and huge smiles. I also met up with Geoff and his groomsman, and you could tell that they were all so excited for how the day would unfold.
When Geoff saw his bride in her incredible dress for the first time during their first look, the look on his face was one I’ll never forget. He was truly in awe of his almost wife. I live for these moments and getting to capture it on camera is what makes this job so amazing.
Their wedding ceremony was magical inside the Covington Cathedral Basilica of Assumption, and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
Finally, upon arriving at 1913 The Heartland Barn for their reception, I saw how perfectly decorated it was. No detail went unnoticed. The amazing purple uplighting, with the beautiful greenery and personalized signs made the entire theme of their wedding really come to life. Cassie, Geoff, and their family & friends were full of energy, and the dance floor was never once empty!!
After the reception ended, we spent the next almost hour together capturing gorgeous newlywed portraits of them. There was a perfect little abandoned railroad track behind the barn, and the sunlight was PERFECT. IT was honestly the best possible way to end their wedding day.
Cassie & Geoff – I love you both and I truly couldn’t be more happy for you two.
