Oh my goodness! Jake & Kelsey’s engagement session at Holcomb Gardens was an absolute JOY from start to finish!
First of all, the amazing golden sunlight graced us with it’s presence after what’s felt like MONTHS of straight rain. I’ve had so many sessions that I’ve had to reschedule or almost reschedule because of the weather. Well, Kelsey & Jake were coming from Kentucky for their session, so the last thing I wanted to do was have to reschedule on them, so thank goodness for perfect weather!
I was so excited to meet with these two at such a beautiful location. Kelsey had her hair, make-up, and nails perfectly done, and Jake was perfectly coordinated with her! I think there were a little bit of nerves from these guys before their session, but we chatted, laughed, and captured some really great images together and I genuinely had such a fun time with them!
I learned that they met each other at their interview for working at the same elementary school! How cool is that?! Three years later, they’re so in love and planning their wedding day. One of the cutest things about this couple is that their reception of their wedding will be held at the elementary school they both teach out. I love how much their incorporating their unique lives together in the best possible way!
This was my LAST session before our daughter arrives in a few weeks, so I was a little sad to actually end the session, but, I couldn’t have had a more perfect engagement session with a more perfect couple to round off a very busy spring & summer before I have a BABY!!
