I’ve been working all week to get Andrea & Wesley’s images ready for their blog post, and I’m so excited to finally share their amazing day with you. What a special wedding to be married on July 4!
There’s a little backstory to this wedding and it’s date. Andrea & Wes were supposed to be married on May 2. As so many of us know, COVID struck our world and so many amazing couples had to completely uproot their wedding plans. For these two, it turned out to be the most adorable Independence Day themed wedding.
My daughter’s first birthday also falls on July 4, so I found the sweetest local photographer to shoot this day for me. It was incredibly bitter sweet, but I know that Caitlyn handled Andrea & Wesley’s day with as much love and care as I would’ve, and for that I’ll forever be grateful. I love my couples like my own friends. So to not be there to shoot this wedding was hard on my heart. Especially since I know how tough it was for these guys to change everything with so little notice, and I tried to give as much support and love to them as I could.
Viewing these images helps me know that they had the most fun surrounded by their loved ones on the biggest days of their lives. When I shot their engagement session last October, I knew instantly that these two were absolutely meant for each other. Looking at this gallery makes that even more completely clear.
Andrea & Wesley, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. You deserve the world.
