On a chilly but absolutely gorgeous late fall day, Natalie & Phillip married at Bridgewater Club in one of the most emotional and loving ceremonies I’ve ever captured.
Let me give a back story on this wonderful couple. The first time I ever “met” Natalie & Phillip was via FaceTime. You see, Phillip is serving our country as a United States Marine, and if memory serves me correctly, was stationed in Florida at the time. I learned that Natalie & Phillip are high school sweethearts. They fell in love as young souls and once Natalie graduated high school, she moved to Purdue and started her nursing career. Phillip went to Purdue as well. Somewhere along the way, Phillip enlisted in the USMC. This couple spent much of their relationship apart, as with the military life can be sometimes, you have to spend time away from your loved ones. It was clear that nothing could tear these two apart. Their love is unwavering, pure, and one of those kinds of love you rarely see anymore.
Their wedding day was long awaited. They were originally scheduled to wed in the summer. Like with so many of my couples, COVID changed their plans, so on this gorgeous fall day, they finally said their vows (tearfully, but oh so beautifully) in front of their loved ones. I have no shame at all saying I cried a few times throughout this wonderful day.
Natalie is truly one of the sweetest souls I’ve come across. She’s not only gorgeous on the outside, but she is bright, kind, loving, and has a heart of gold. Phillip is a loving man of honor, patience, bravery, and strength. These two together will take on world together, and I’m so lucky to have captured a piece of their story.
