One of my last weddings of the year was one of the most heartfelt and stunning to date. Ryan & Ellen were finally able to celebrate their marriage with their family, friends, and loved ones around them in a winter wedding at Balmoral House in Fishers.
So – backstory on Ryan and Ellen: these two were set to originally get married early 2020. As all of us know, the pandemic hit and turned all of 2020’s weddings upside down. Much stress and heartache was felt by so many of my couples, but we were still able to celebrate… eventually.
I was able to get these two in front of my camera for their engagement session at Newfields, and then a few months later, I captured their “I do’s” in a private ad intimate wedding ceremony by the lake.
After much planning, their big celebration with family and friends was able to finally come together in December. It was perfectly decorated to reflect the winter season. Everything was so elegant. Ellen was a true beauty in her ballgown wedding dress. Seeing Ryan’s face light up with pure joy and love when he saw his bride for the first time during the first look was a moment I will never forget.
