Romantic Wedding Shoot at the Ritz Charles

Friends, I have FINALLY gotten around to blogging the styled shoot that I put together last April!! This styled shoot design came straight from my heart. I had a vision that I wanted to come to life, and hand picked the most incredible vendors to make that happen!

For years I had wanted to shoot at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion. It’s timeless, elegant, and the perfect luxury backdrop for any wedding. My vision included over-the top pastel florals to give a chic but timeless feel. Leffel Florals made my dream come to life and she put together such gorgeous arrangements! My dear friends and 2019 wedding couple Mikayla & Ryan kindly agreed to model for me, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They’re so much fun, easy-going, and totally in-love, so we were able to capture an authentic feel in front of our cameras! Rachel with Raye Beauty Co and Katie dolled Mikayla up for a soft-romantic feel. I didn’t want anything too trendy. She was the most beautiful bride! I had a flat-lay station with handmade invitation suites from Blu3 Designs as the centerpiece. They complimented the shoot so well and I never get tired of photographing her work! The shoot wouldn’t have been complete without luxury rental pieces from Sparkling Decor & More. Her dishware and table set-up (not to mention the backdrop arch) elevated the shoot to more than what I could’ve hoped for! For some extra fun, I created a champagne glass tower complete with dry ice! It stood next to one of the most gorgeous cakes I’ve ever seen, made by Simply Patisserie! The furniture for our shoot was graciously offered by Violet Vintage Rentals, one of my favorite design & rental companies in Indiana. Their inventory is packed with perfect elements to go with any wedding!

The process of planning everything and pulling all of the elements of the shoot together was so much fun, and I learned so much along the way. Creating relationships with other wedding vendors in your area is so important!
