I am so incredibly excited to finally be able to share with you one of my absolute favorite weddings TO DATE. Lindsay & Ryan are now Mr. & Mrs. Strole, and this wedding tugged at my heart strings in all the best ways, and I am beyond blessed to have been present for this magical day.
It started out as a dreary Saturday afternoon, I arrived at Lindsay’s parents house where everyone was getting ready, and where the wedding was taking place. Now, Lindsay had sent me some pictures of the property to give me an idea of what everything looked like, but oh my goodness. Arriving to the property, I was in total shock of how actually gorgeous their home was, and all the property they had! We had all been worried all week that it was going to rain all day, but as luck would have it, the sun made a beautiful presentation exactly when we needed it.
The ceremony took place under a beautiful tree. As I was taking some photographs of the area, Lindsay’s mother came up to me to tell me to make sure I took some shots of the beautiful memorial that they had set up for Ryan’s sister, Michelle. As it turned out, they would be getting married right in front of this memorial, which was so beautiful and touching.
Lindsay is this incredibly kind and beautiful soul, the kind of person who you know you can instantly be friends with. Ryan is hilarious and goofy, but his love to Lindsay shows his sensitive side. During the toasts, the best man mentioned a conversation between himself & Ryan, asking Ryan “why are you marrying this girl?”. To which Ryan’s response was “she just gets me”. Well, it was so obvious on their wedding day that they really do “get” each other, and love each other so much.
Watching their two families become one warmed my heart. These two wonderful families have been brought together, and I couldn’t be more happy for them.
To one of the most awesome couples I’ve ever had the honor of knowing and photography – here’s to you. I wish you so much love and happiness, because you deserve it so much.
Love,
Aubrey
