Happy 2019 everyone! My first wedding for the year was a beautiful Catholic wedding in the adorable and scenic town of Cedar Grove, Indiana! From the moment I met Adam & McKinzie, I knew their wedding day was going to be something special. Watching them become Mr. & Mrs. Kaiser has been the highlight of my year so far!
We started the day out at the salon, and McKinzie and her 10 STUNNING bridesmaids were all working on hair & makeup! They had these perfect Champagne colored matching robes, and everyone seemed super calm and ready to get the day started! Once we headed over to the getting ready location, we got McKinzie in her dress and she stunned everyone. That dress HAD to be made for her! She picked a dress that I think really represented her personality and it fit her like a total glove!
McKinzie and her girl’s had the best attitude about the rain, and guys, it pretty much rained the entire day! So, in natural Aubrey Lynn fashion, I tried to make it work, and we were able to take some fun portraits on the porch of the house we were at! Natural lighting is where it’s at for me, and even if that means I get soaked getting their images, so be it!
Once the bride and her bridesmaids were on the way to the church, Adam and his groomsman came upstairs looking SHARP and ready to take some pictures! The best part about a huge group of guys in a wedding party is all the different personalities and ALL the jokes. These guys were so sweet, but absolutely hilarious! It made my job super easy and fun.
Fast forward to the wedding ceremony, and seeing the look on Adam’s face as he watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle was so heartwarming. She of course looked so beautiful, and Adam was smiling ear-to-ear, waiting to make her his official wife.
The rest of the day was so much fun, hopping from location to location, snapping fun pics along the way (including inside a party bus – heck yes!). Despite heavy rain during their formal portraits, the newlyweds humored me and we took some outside shots. Just like during their engagement session, these two NAILED it, and we were able to capture some stunning shots in a relatively quick amount of time.
I am blessed and honored to have been a part of this day, and to have captured some precious memories which will hopefully be treasured forever.
Love, Aubrey
